Jo March, from the "Women of Renown Collection", is the 2nd oldest daughter in the delightful novel, "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott, published in 1868. Her purple and off-white plaid, full skirt is seamed and gathered and has a very high waistband. She wears an off-white blouse with long, puffy sleeves. Her long, reddish-brown hair is swept back from her face and falls down her back in waves. It is tied with a small, off-white, satin ribbon. Jo, an aspiring young author, is holding her newest manuscripit in one hand and her quill pen in the other. All "Young Women of Renown" dolls are made of wood, wire, doll hair, miniature accessories and paper twist ribbon and range in size. Jo is approximately 9.5" tall. As with all of my dolls, her name appears on the bottom.
